Back-end Developer Position in Beijing – WeChat Development

Job description:

WalktheChat is looking for a back-end developer to join our team and help improve/extend the function of our e-commerce platform. You will work with our marketing team, other developers and our back-end team in order to improve speed, stability, and develop new features for clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop new features for our platform through the Node.js framework (Loopback)

2. Support the development of a testing environment to improve application stability

3. Optimization of the application for maximum safety, speed and scalability

4. Work with front-end teams to support integration of features into our App

5. Collaborate with marketing team to turn client needs into features

Skills:

1. Advanced knowledge of Node.js

2. Comfortable creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

3. Experience using REST APIs, web-token authentication and interfaces between front and back-end

4. Experience with management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes

5. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

2. You can be issued a Chinese working visa (Z) for this position
